Both visits are suitable for a class of up to 30 pupils with at least four teachers / adult helpers. Due to the age and layout of the building, there is no access to the first floor for wheelchair users or those with very limited mobility but the ground floor which is where the vast majority of the visit takes place is wheelchair accessible. This session can be altered to take place entirely on the ground floor so please let us know in advance if this is a requirement, and of any other SEND requirements, and we will be happy to accommodate you and your class as much as we are able.

The museum does have one toilet but no appropriate space to accommodate lunch.

If you would like to explore the possibility of a full day session, or if you have more than one class, please get in touch. It may be possible to work in conjunction with the Learning Team at Palace Green Library to provide a lunch space and additional activities. Please note that there would be an additional charge for this. Please book as far in advance as possible to maximise the chances of availability at both sites.

Half day visit (K1 and KS2): £4 per pupil. Teachers/adults are free of charge.
